Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have appeared together in a new video together just after Donald Trump won the US election.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spoke in a video published via their Archewell Foundation website about the inaugural United Nations Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children in Bogota, Colombia.
In the video, Meghan, 43, spoke about the importance of addressing digital violence to prioritise children’s safety in today’s world, something the Archewell Foundation focuses on as one of its priorities.
Believed to be speaking from Montecito, Meghan said:“My husband and I recognise today’s reality is marked by greater connectivity and advanced technology, which of course has many positives, but which also compels us to better understand how digital violence against children is manifesting itself in this age.”
Harry, who appeared by his wife’s side for the first time since September, added that families are “desperately seeking support” to protect their children in this digital age. No mention of Donald Trump‘s election victory was made, with the couple reportedly not huge fans of the US President.
