Meghan Markle sparked a right royal frenzy after she shared a new photograph of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet on Monday. The Duchess of Sussex took to her official page on Instagram, as well as the official page of her brand As Ever, to post a new snap showing her with her two children.
In the snap, Meghan was dressed casually in a white shirt and blue jeans, holding Lilibet on her left while Archie was hugging her on the right. Prince Harry and Meghan’s daughter was seen barefoot, wearing an adorable grey jumper and a mini straw hat. Meanwhile, Archie appeared to be his dad’s mini-me, wearing grey jeans, a dark grey jumper, funky socks, and slip-on trainers.
The post, which did not show the children’s faces, was captioned, “Every day is a love story” alongside a dove of peace emoji.
However, royal fans were driven into a frenzy over the new Archie and Lilibet snap.
Several of them took to social media to note how much they’ve grown and commented on their bright red hair.
One user said on X: “Meghan is outnumbered by gingers!!! Princess Lilibet’s hair is even redder than Prince Archie’s hair which is very red itself! In Prince Harry’s words ‘The Spencer gene is strong’.”
A second one agreed: “The Spencer genes win again.” A third one wrote: “Red hair gene reigns supreme!!!”
A fourth one commented: “Beautiful prince and princess with a beautiful unique hair color(sic).”
A fifth one said: “The matching hats are so sweet. And the red hair on the kids… just adorable.”
Finally a sixth one opined: “Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are getting so big!”
