A former prisoner who was locked up in the same prison Sara Sharif’s twisted father has been moved to has revealed the horrific things he witnessed behind bars.
Urfan Sharif, now held at HMP Frankland after a brutal attack with a “jagged tuna lid” at HMP Belmarsh, is locked away for life for his horrific crime against his 10-year-old daughter.
And ex-convict Ricky Killeen, who entered HMP Frankland at 21, says Sharif is in for a terrifying experience in his new confines in County Durham. Recounting his experiences to The Mirror, he said: “My first impression of Frankland Prison was ‘WELCOME TO HELL’ inscribed inside the holding cell in reception.
“The other lads I was transferred with were s**ting themselves because of the rumours they had heard about how bad it is.”
Known locally for harbouring infamous inmates like Levi Bellfield, Ian Huntley, and Wayne Couzens, the facility has gained a chilling reputation as ‘Monster Mansion’.
Previously caged for his role in a machete attack, Ricky now helps other ex-prisoners in reassembling their lives. Additionally, as the writer of Behind the Bars Ruthless Fitness, he provided a grim view of the savagery he saw where notorious criminals such as Peter Sutcliffe, Fred West, and Harold Shipman once resided.
He recounted: “I witnessed loads of violence in there. The first day I was there I saw a terrorist get hot oil tipped over his head and seen his head melting. I saw numerous lads get stabbed in the neck and one got a coffee jar full of chilli powder rammed in his neck.
“There were mini riots in there when I was there as well but the hot oil incident was the worst I seen.”
On the fate awaiting Sharif, he said: “He can expect to be housed with some of the worst and most dangerous paedos in the country. He will be a massive target for what he’s in for and he will be looking over his shoulder.”
Ricky, who runs the YouTube channel Behind the Bars TV, was on the main wing but noted that the most extreme violence occurred on the VP wing, which houses sex offenders and infamous murderers. He revealed that tales of brutality from that wing, such as a paedophile being “disembowled”, would sometimes circulate among the prisoners through the officers.
A source informed The Sun that Sharif was brought into Frankland while other inmates were confined to their cells, expressing that Sharif has been “terrified” and “cowering in his cell”.
It was also mentioned that Sharif is now on the same wing as Bellfield, having previously suffered an attack in Belmarsh shortly after receiving a life sentence for the murder of his ten year old daughter.
With many of Frankland Prison’s 800 inmates serving life sentences, the prison is home to notorious individuals like Lee Rigby’s murderer Michael Adebolajo and Rhys Jones’ killer Sean Mercer.
