Over the next seven days, several places in the UK are set to see snow as chilly conditions return. Maps from forecaster WXCHARTS show snow will begin in Scotland and the north of England, before spreading southwards towards the Midlands. The cold weather comes after conditions have looked to be warming up for spring, but now Brits could see wintry weather once more.
On Tuesday, March 24, at 6pm, the maps show patches of snow in Scotland, with a small patch of snow in North Yorkshire. In the south of England and most of the Midlands, these parts of the country will be spared, seeing rain instead of snow. On Wednesday, March 25, at 6am, the deepest snow will be in the Scottish Highlands, with up to 5cm of snowfall.

“Later it turns colder and windy with clear spells and showers, heaviest in the north and west, with hill snow in northern areas.”
For Wednesday, it says there will be sunny spells and blustery wintry showers.
There will be showers, frequent across the north and northwest, with heavy hail and thunder. It will feel cold with brisk winds.
For Thursday to Saturday, it says: “Briefly drier for most on Thursday, before another spell of rain moves southeastwards later and into Friday.
