Warning to anyone buying Baileys at Tesco or Sainsbury’s | Personal Finance | Finance

Tesco and Sainsbury’s shoppers are being warned they don’t have long left to cash in on a bargain Baileys offer in time for Christmas.

Both supermarkets currently have offers on one-litre bottles of the popular festive tipple, slashing the cost from £22 to just £10.

But shoppers are warned that the £10 offer will be coming to an end very soon, so you’ll need to move quick if you want to snap up a bottle before the price goes back up.

Tesco’s £10 deal on one-litre bottles of Baileys is currently available in stores and online in England and Wales to shoppers with a Clubcard, while in Scotland you can get it for £11.05.

The offer will end on Monday, December 9, meaning there’s only two weeks left to make the most of the deal.

If you don’t have a Clubcard you can register for one online for free. You can earn Clubcard points for every £1 spent at Tesco and these can be turned into vouchers, with every 150 points giving you £1.50 in Clubcard vouchers.

These remain valid for two years and can be doubled in value when redeemed with one of Tesco’s 100 Reward Partners, including Disney+, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, ASK Italian, Pizza Express, the RAC and Cineworld.

Meanwhile, Sainsbury’s is also running a £10 deal on one-litre bottles of Baileys in stores and online for Nectar card members.

This offer will end slightly earlier than Tesco’s on Sunday, December 8, and the offer excludes Scotland and Sainsbury’s Local stores.

If you don’t have a Nectar card you can sign up to be a member online and collect points with personalised offers from Sainsbury’s and its reward partners, which include Argos, British Airways and Esso.
