When Oliver Burkhardt underwent leukemia treatments at nine years old, he wore a special jacket with patches to also to help “deflect” the most difficult times during his treatment.
Now fully recovered, Burkhardt is helping others by starting the Oliver Patch Project, which is dedicated to helping kids who are also dealing with leukemia.
