A beloved pizza outlet has collapsed into administration. Pizza Authority Ltd, which runs a restaurant of the same name in Brent Cross shopping centre in London, appointed a liquidator on February 13, according to the listing in The London Gazette. The notice was published yesterday. The news will be met with sadness by regular customers, as the business has received positive reviews online.
Customer Blend Gashi wrote a month ago: “This place is nothing more than amazing, the atmosphere here is like no other. I am greeted in a very positive way by the staff and they are very caring. I attend this amazing cafe on average 3-5 times a week, and every time I go there, there are plenty of memories added. I highly recommend this amazing place.”
Big Bossi gave the eatery five stars for food, staff and atmosphere. They wrote: “The food, workers and all round atmosphere is just great.”
Another customer, Florjan Shehu, wrote: “This place is great, I go almost everyday day and just chill with my friends the coffees are amazing and the food is out of this world.”
But not all were left totally satisfied.
A reviewer wrote: “I have never been so unhappy with an establishment in my life, the customer service was appalling and the food was terrible you’re better off exploring other options.

“I’m horribly dissatisfied. As a whole the environment is completely unwelcoming and uncomfortable.”
The development is listed as a creditors’ voluntary liquidation – a formal process initiated by a firm’s directors used to close an insolvent company that cannot pay its debts.
An insolvency practitioner is usually appointed to sell the company’s assets and distribute funds to creditors.
The liquidator appointed is Zane Collins of Insolvency One Limited, based in Leeds.
They were selected by members and creditors, The London Gazette said.
