National Highways said road users are advised to follow the solid diamond diversion symbol on road signs if heading clockwise:
– Leave M60 clockwise at J22
– At M60 J22/A62 Junction, turn left onto A62 northbound Manchester Road/Manchester Street
– At the Manchester Street Roundabout turn right (through the roundabout) to remain on the A62 Oldham Way
– Keep left to access the King Street Roundabout with the A627
– Take the fourth exit on to the A627 Ashton Road
– Continue to the junction with the A6140/A6043 junction, turn right onto A6140 westbound (Wellington Street)
– At A6140 (Lord Sheldon Way) A6140 (Moss Way) junction, turn left on to the A6140 (Moss Way) southbound
– At A6140/M60 J23 turn right to join the M60 J23 clockwise entry slip road and re-join M60
