President Donald Trump’s forthcoming third medical examination has sparked fresh concerns regarding the commander-in-chief’s health and overall wellbeing.
Trump is due to attend medical and dental appointments on Tuesday at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, marking his third scheduled medical evaluation in 13 months. Trump visited Walter Reed in April 2025 for his annual physical, before making a further trip in October for what administration officials described as a “scheduled follow-up,” sparking weeks of speculation and questions surrounding his health and the tests he may have undergone.
The White House sidestepped the questions, eventually offering an explanation almost three months later: that the president had undergone a CT scan. This follows revelations from a former Trump staffer who disclosed his 4 chilling predictions for what the president will do next.
Barbabella stated the CT scan was carried out to “definitively rule out any cardiovascular issues” and revealed no abnormalities, according to reports from the Irish Star.
Trump’s imminent medical assessment comes amid growing unease about his physical condition, following numerous occasions on which he appeared to have a bruise on his right hand, as well as incidents where he seemingly dozed off on camera during televised events.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt previously suggested that Trump’s bruised hand was consistent with “tissue damage from frequent handshaking” combined with aspirin use. Nevertheless, Trump has since been photographed with bruising on both hands. The White House has repeatedly insisted the president is in “excellent health.” The 79 year old president is confronting questions comparable to those previously aimed at former President Joe Biden about whether he possesses the mental and physical capacity to carry out his responsibilities as commander in chief.
Trump was unrelenting in labelling then-President Biden “Sleepy Joe” during the 2023 and 2024 campaign trail, regularly drawing comparisons between his own vitality and Biden’s.
Independent medical experts have voiced concerns about whether the recurring bruising visible on Trump’s hands, coupled with his swollen legs and apparent bouts of drowsiness, could signal a more serious underlying health issue.

Many believe that the White House’s explanations are simply not sufficiently persuasive.
“This White House just doesn’t seem to want to acknowledge any physical ailment, but older people develop medical issues, and the president is almost 80 years old,” said Jonathan Reiner, a long-serving cardiologist for former vice president Dick Cheney.
“There just seems to be a lack of candor from the White House,” Reiner told the Washington Post.
Recent polling figures also reveal a rising number of Americans questioning the president’s health.
A Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll carried out last month revealed that 40% of Americans believe Trump possesses the mental sharpness required to serve as president, a drop from 47% last September.
Furthermore, public faith in Trump’s physical fitness has also diminished, with 44% of Americans believing Trump has the physical health necessary for the role, down from 54% last September.
This follows a peculiar bulge being noticed in Trump’s trousers – prompting a concerning allegation.
