To win the full estimated £22million jackpot — or a share of it if there are multiple winners — players must match all seven numbers drawn, which include the five main numbers and the two Lucky Stars. However, the game also offers tiered prizes, so even if players don’t hit the jackpot, they could still walk away with a smaller win by matching fewer numbers.
The largest UK jackpot ever won was £195,707,000, claimed on July 19, 2022, with the winning numbers 6, 21, 23, 27, 40 and Lucky Stars 2 and 12. More recently, on March 10, a UK ticket holder secured £181.1 million, marking the third‑biggest win in the nation’s history.
The EuroMillions jackpot can also be shared whenever more than one ticket matches all five main numbers plus the two Lucky Stars.
In such cases, the total prize is divided equally among the winners — for example, if two players hit the jackpot, each receives half of the advertised amount. Although multiple jackpot winners are relatively rare, they do occur across the nine participating EuroMillions countries.
