A fire is raging at an industrial site in Caerleon, Newport. The blaze erupted overnight at Star Trading Estate, prompting the deployment of firefighters from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and Gwent Police officers.
The site was evacuated and all people have been accounted for, but the blaze continues to rip through the site. As a result, 999 crews are urging people in the area to keep their windows and doors closed, and a local cafe on the trading estate has decided to close due to the “serious” incident, Wales Online reports.
