Aldi is introducing a strict “two per person” restriction on a popular range as it makes its comeback to stores. The supermarket, which has branches across the UK, is bringing back its sought-after wooden toy collection.
Aldi is searching for a toy enthusiast to take on the role of a lifetime and become its first ever Wooden Toy Tester. The retailer is inviting children nationwide to submit applications, explaining why they deserve to be selected and what imaginary meal they would prepare in their very own toy kitchen. The collection, which returns from Sunday, May 17, features the Wooden Outdoor BBQ (£24.99) complete with BBQ Food Accessories (£9.99) and the action-packed Mud Kitchen (£34.99) with Mud Kitchen Accessories (£9.99).
Aldi has also confirmed that owing to the expected demand for the toys, it will be enforcing a two per person restriction on purchases.
The Summer Wooden Toy collection includes the new Wooden Outdoor BBQ (£24.99) complete with the essential BBQing tools and grill hood, reports BirminghamLive.
This pairs perfectly with the NEW BBQ Food Accessories (£9.99) featuring four kits: Hot Dog Box, Meat Box, BBQ Burger Box and Veggie Box all complete with wooden toy food and condiments.
The Mud Kitchen (£34.99) including bread oven, washing up rack, double burner stove top and utensil holders is also on sale, along with the Mud Kitchen Accessories (£9.99), with four sets of stainless steel or wooden pots and bowls, baking set and veggie prep set.
The Wooden Shop Front (£29.99) and The Shop Front and Role Play Set Accessories (£14.99) available in six store front role plays of Coffee Shop, Florist, Village Shop, Post Office, Theatre and Vet.
The Messy Play Picnic Bench (£34.99) fully equipping the garden with everything needed for a perfect day’s play out in the sun.
