Aldi is launching a new range of products from next week, but they’re only available while stocks last. The German supermarket retailer, which has over 1,050 stores across the UK, is adding a wide selection of camping products to its “middle aisle” on June 18, as Brits gear up for long-awaited summer staycations.
Products available in stores as part of their Family Camping range will include a 4-in-1 Airbed (£24.99), described as a “must-have for family getaways or camping with friends. This handy essential can be used in a variety of ways: a double bed, two singles, a double-height single for extra padded comfort, or just a single”. It also comes with a raised pillow and is available in either grey or cream. An Electric Air Pump (£4.99) to inflate it is sold separately.
There’s also a variety of seating options so you can sit back and enjoy the summer sun after setting up your base camp. This includes the Camping Double Chair (£39.99), which Aldi says is “perfect for couples to relax in, while the Picnic Table with 4 Stools (£24.99) offers the perfect space for family mealtimes”.
You’ll also be able to get your hands on their Camping Pet Play Pen (£19.99) to help keep your furry friends safe and secure in the great outdoors.
The retailer will also be selling a range of campsite entertainment, including:
- the Soft Archery Set (£24.99), as well as the Camping Games Table (£24.99) which can be used as both a darts board or a ping pong table, Aldi says.
You can even pick up your digs for the trip, with their Large Family Tent (£89.99), which is waterproof against up to 2,000mm of rain and said to fit up to six people “comfortably”, “with space for equipment and a spacious entrance area”.
Additionally, shoppers can pick from a range of cooking essentials, like Aldi’s Folding Kettle & Warmer (£19.99), which features a boil or keep-warm function for tea or heating soup.
To keep drinks cold and refreshing, there’s also their Electric Cool Box (£34.99), which has an in-built fan, or the Pop-Up Cool Box with Stand (£14.99), which can be built and collapsed quickly.
For moving luggage and equipment, there’s also their heavy-duty Folding Trolley (£39.99) and a kit to ensure you’ve got sufficient light when the sun goes down.
This includes the Portable Solar Charger (£29.99) and Camping Lights (£14.99), which feature a “powerful torch to guide the way back at the end of the day”.
Products will be available in stores from next Thursday, but only while supplies last.
