Arsenal could sign Julian Alvarez, Morgan Rogers and two more in huge transfer spree | Football | Sport

No sooner had Arsenal missed out on a historic Champions League and Premier League double than the club’s hierarchy were plotting their next move in the summer transfer window. Mikel Arteta has urged his title-winning side to take it up a gear next year, as he looks to usher in a new era of dominance at the Emirates Stadium.

But it would appear Arteta is hoping for reinforcements to help achieve just that, with talk of Arsenal spending big this summer. Several big-name stars are being linked with a move to north London, as the Gunners put their foot on the gas after a successful 2025/26 campaign.

The latest prospective target for the champions is Christos Tzolis, who has impressed for Belgian side Club Brugge. The winger netted 17 goals and mustered 23 assists in the league for Brugge, and is understandably attracting attention from some of Europe’s biggest names.

According to Ben Jacobs, talks are taking place between Arsenal and Brugge regarding a potential transfer for Tzolis. But he isn’t the only attacking addition that is being touted as a future Arsenal player, with talk surrounding Morgan Rogers continuing to heat up.

Rogers enjoyed a stellar season with Aston Villa and helped them end a painful wait for a trophy during the West Midlands outfit’s Europa League triumph. However, just after the Premier League season came to an end, the playmaker was being linked to Arsenal, who appear to be keen on striking up an agreement.

While Julian Alvarez is a name that doesn’t seem to be going away from an Arsenal point of view. The Argentine has been embroiled in a transfer saga with both La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid all summer, but Atletico Madrid appear to be standing firm.

According to Jacobs, Alvarez remains a dream target for the league winners, but getting a deal across the line could prove tough. Alternatively, in the forward department, Bradley Barcola and Junior Kroupi are also names being mentioned, but Premier League rivals Liverpool are also said to be keen.

Outgoings are also expected to follow at Arsenal, with Gabriel Martinelli attracting interest from the Saudi Pro League. Meanwhile, Leandro Trossard is capturing the attention of Bournemouth, who have Europa League to offer next season.
