Three people, including an eight-year-old child, were taken to hospital after a car crashed into the building at a motorway service station. Police were called to Cardiff Gate Services on Monday, May 25, after a vehicle allegedly hit pedestrians before colliding with a building just off junction 30 of the M4.
Two pedestrians, including the child and a 39-year-old man, were taken to hospital, as was the driver of the vehicle, police said. An investigation into the incident is underway, South Wales Police added. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
