Exact route police believe Michael Mosley took as rescuers scour rocky cliffs | World | News

Rescuers are concentrating their search for missing TV doctor Michael Mosley around an area of mountains, after the medical media personality disappeared on the Greek island of Symi on Wednesday.

According to the BBC, the route the 67-year-old took saw him walk along a water-level path, around a bay, to the village of Pedi.

CCTV images show Mr Mosely, covered by a black umbrella, walking in the searing heat.

The father-of-four is reported to have walked through the village, to the other side of the bay, making his way towards unforgiving rocky mountains. It is there that rescuers are desperately searching.

In sweltering conditions, a rescuer has warned it is a “race against time” to locate the much-loved TV doctor.

He was on holiday with his wife and another couple when he went missing. His wife, Clare Bailey, also a doctor has said she will “not lose hope” in finding her husband.

The island’s mayor Eleftherios Papakaloudoukas has said that there is “no chance” the search for Mr Mosley, which has seen helicopters, drones and divers called in, will be abandoned until he is found.
