Lando Norris secured pole position after finishing fastest in qualifying on Saturday, and the McLaren driver and reigning world champion has a chance to get another victory under his belt when he takes to the track at the Hungaroring.
Lewis Hamilton had finished second in qualifying, but was handed a three-place grid penalty after being deemed to have impeded Oscar Piastri in the closing stages of qualifying – an outcome which did not go down well with the British star.
Current Driver’s Championship leader Kimi Antonelli was also handed a penalty after finishing fourth in qualifying, and will instead start in seventh on the grid.
Charles Leclerc will start in second on the grid ahead of Piastri, while four-time world champion Max Verstappen will be in fourth for the start of the race.
