Take That fans have been patiently awaiting the arrival of the band’s Circus Tour for months. The band, made up of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, confirmed last year that they would be bringing the boyband’s historic tour back to life once again this year. Originally held in 2009, The Circus Tour brings all kinds of exciting props and features to the show, including elephants, circus balls, ringmasters, fire, flames, balloons and much more.
Take That kicked off their new tour on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Southampton’s St Mary’s Stadium. And included in the exciting event was a “spectacular journey” for audiences. The Circus was brought to life once again with props and sets from the original adventure, as well as some extras. This time around, a large circus tent was the main attraction, with fire-breathers, clowns, aerialists, feathers, sequins, balloons and plenty of pyrotechnics.
The first batch of photos from Take That’s Circus tour have now been distributed. And they paint quite the picture.
On top of the band taking on the role of hilarious clowns, there was a 50-foot ringmaster with a skeletal face overseeing all.
And that’s as well as the dozens of performers, artists, dancers and more across the enormous two-stage event.
Below, we’ve dropped photos some of the most exciting scenes from the gig, with plenty more to come.
