Two men have been stabbed in Golders Green, north London, according to a Jewish security group, CST. The incident has been called “deeply concerning” by Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, and happened in a predominantly Jewish area. A man has been arrested after he was reportedly seen running along Golders Green Road armed with a knife and “attempting to stab Jewish members of the public”, Jewish security group Shomrim has claimed on social media.
The Jewish community security organisation said to have detained the suspect before police officers tasered and arrested him. Shomrim also reported two people were stabbed and are being treated by Hatzola, a Jewish volunteer ambulance service.
