Harry’s royal reunion dreams shattered as he faced with ‘big blockage’ | Royal | News

Prince Harry‘s royal reunion dreams appeared to have been shattered as he is faced with “big blockage”. The 41-year-old has experienced the breakdown within relationships with his family members since stepping down from royal life in early 2020 – but has expressed a desire to connect with them on numerous occassions.

According to former royal editor Duncan Larscombe, the King and Prince William‘s trust levels when it come the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is at an all-time low. The couple have previously attacked the Firm via television interviews and memoirs – and have made aimed comments at members of the family – including the King, William, Princess Catherine and Queen Camilla.

Mr Larscombe, as reported by New magazine, said: “Charles is in an impossible position right now.

“He and Prince William can’t reach out to Harry for fear of him then publicising it. That’s the big blockage.

“If they were to resume contact, they run the risk that Harry and Meghan could disclose more personal details and drop more bombshells about what’s happening. This is where the fear lies for the Royal Family.”

The father-of-two told the broadcaster that his father will not speak to him and he does not know how much longer the King has left.

Harry, who appeared close to tears for most of the interview, described his court defeat as a “good old-fashioned establishment stitch-up” while also expressing hopes of a reconciliation with his family.

Harry last saw his father in the UK last year, a visit that saw him come to the UK for the annual WellChild awards.

The royal is set to travel to the UK this summer for the one-year countdown event for the Invictus Games, it remains unclear if he will meet with his father during this trip.
