The beloved pair are inseparable, but with Nick departing for university and Charlie discovering fresh independence at school, can they manage a long-distance relationship?
The dramatic trailer begins on an optimistic note as the couple are deeply in love. Nevertheless, the atmosphere quickly changes as the pair have discussions about separation while viewers hear the devastating words: “I need you to be okay without me.”, reports the Mirror.
But will the duo be capable of navigating their romance? Audiences will have several weeks remaining to wait as the concluding film will not arrive on Netflix until July.
An official synopsis states: “Nick and Charlie are inseparable, but with Nick preparing to leave for university and Charlie finding new independence at school, the reality of a long-distance relationship begins to weigh on them.
“Doubts take hold, and their relationship faces its biggest challenge yet. Meanwhile, their friends are also navigating the ups and downs of love and friendship, confronting the bittersweet challenges of growing up and moving on. Can first loves really last forever?”.
Launching on Netflix on 17th July, audiences have already been reduced to tears following the emotionally charged trailer which depicted the beloved characters grappling with their long-distance relationship.
One viewer posted: “NICK AND CHARLIE FIGHTING? OH WE ARE NOT READY FOR THISS.” They subsequently added in a follow-up comment: “SOBBING CRYING THROWING UP.”
