Five cars have reportedly caught fire sending huge plumes of smoke billowing into the air near Las Vegas Airport.

The incident has been reported on Wednesday, June 3 near the busy Harry Reid Airport.

One eyewitness posted a picture of the incident along with the caption: “Fire at Las Vegas Airport in the parking garage.”

“We are assisting firefighters with the evacuation of the parking garage,” police said.

Harry Reid Airport officials say the parking garage is temporarily closed while the incident is being cleared. Travelers are advised to go to the Terminal 3 parking garage.

The fire is reported to have started after 3pm local time at the Terminal 1 parking garage.
