Liverpool could be a real force in the Premier League next season if everything goes their way in the transfer market over the coming weeks. Andoni Iraola will be hoping to lead a title challenge as he prepares for his debut campaign, but will need more quality players in order to boost those chances. Jeremy Jacquet and Victor Munoz have already moved to Anfield this summer for a combined total of £95million.
However, there is still plenty of room for improvement in the Reds squad, with the signing of a new winger at the top of their agenda. They need a top-class forward to replace Mohamed Salah and have been linked with a blockbuster move for PSG wide man Bradley Barcola. Liverpool could also benefit from more signings in defence, midfield and attack, which could take their total spend above the £400m mark.

Even though signings are needed virtually across the board, Liverpool are already sorted between the sticks with Alisson Becker set to retain the gloves next season.
Giorgi Mamardashvili is waiting in the wings to replace him in the near future, but until then, the Brazilian will continue to feature as the last line of defence.
Defence – Acheampong, Konsa, Van Dijk, Kerkez
Liverpool could benefit from adding a new centre-back to replace Ibrahima Konate, with Ezri Konsa having been linked. It’s been claimed that Aston Villa would demand around £60m to sell the England international this summer.
A move for Chelsea defender Josh Acheampong would also be a smart move for the Reds, given that he is capable of playing at right-back and in the middle. He could reportedly be available for just £26m, which would make him a low-risk and potentially high-reward addition.

Midfield – Wharton, Szoboszlai, Wirtz
While central midfield is not an area of serious concern for Liverpool, Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister regularly struggled last season.
The Reds could upgrade by launching a £100m swoop for Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton, who would offer a long-term solution in the middle of the park.
He could easily slot into the engine room alongside Dominik Szoboszlai, with Florian Wirtz playing further forward in a creative role.
Attack – Barcola, Torres, Isak
Liverpool have apparently identified Barcola as their top choice to replace Salah, but the PSG winger would reportedly cost as much as £145m.
However, he is a genuine world-class player and could be worth every penny if he fires the Reds to more trophies over the coming years.
Ferran Torres, who scored the winning goal for Spain in the World Cup final, is also said to be a potential Liverpool target and could reportedly be available for around £40m.
