London Tube strikes LIVE: Passengers face April 2026 chaos as trains cancelled | UK | News

London faces two days of Tube strikes and four days of disruption in April 2026 as passengers are warned of disruption.

Tube drivers are set to walk out this week over proposed changes to their working schedule, leading to significant disruptions for commuters. The Rail, Maritime, and Tube Union (RMT) strike is set to impact the capital again this week with another two days of strikes. Tube drivers are planning to walk out on Tuesday, April 21 and Thursday, April 23.

On those days, all strikes run from 12pm midday to 12pm midday the following day, but disruption will continue into the afternoons and evenings of strike days.

Transport for London (TfL) said the Elizabeth line, DLR, London Overground, trams, and most bus routes will be running as normal but are expected to be very busy. On Friday, 24 April a bus strike will affect a few routes in east London.
