M6 traffic LIVE: Staffordshire closure after serious 2-lorry crash | UK | News

A busy section of the M6 motorway is closed following a “serious” crash involving two lorries, with emergency services rushing to the scene. The M6 in Staffordshire has been shut southbound between J15 Hanchurch Interchange (Stoke-on-Trent, Stone, Eccleshall A500) and J14 Creswell Interchange (Stafford (N) A34).

All emergency services, as well as National Highways Traffic Officers, have responded to the incident. Drivers have been warned they face 45 mintue delays, which are “building” and four miles of traffic on approach. National Highways wrote on X: “The #M6 is closed southbound between J15 #Stoke and J14 #Stafford following a serious collision involving 2 HGVs. @StaffsPolice @OFFICIALWMAS @StaffsFire are on scene. Current delays of 45mins and 4 miles of congestion on the approach. Delays are building.
