Meghan Markle has announced a new product launch for her brand, just days before she returns to the UK. The Duchess of Sussex will travel to Britain next month to join her husband, Prince Harry, on his five-day trip to mark the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games in Birmingham.
On Sunday, Meghan teased on her brand As Ever’s Instagram page that a “hint of lavender” is coming, showing a photo of what appeared to be honey in a pot with a spoon. The following day, she sent a newsletter to her As Ever customers, revealing that the brand will launch lavender honey on Tuesday. The new honey will be sourced from Spain.
According to the brand, the new product will offer “a delicate warmth that lingers beautifully”.
Meghan’s brand has so far offered three types of honey – wildflower, orange blossom, and sage.
It comes as the Duchess prepares to fly back to Prince Harry’s home country for the first time in four years.
The last time Meghan was pictured in the UK was in September 2022, for the late Queen’s funeral.
Meghan is scheduled to join her husband on visits to the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London and an Invictus event at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
The duke is said to be trying to find a way to safely bring his wife and two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to the UK, despite concerns about how they will be protected and confusion about where they will stay.
There is hope the King will be able to reunite with his youngest grandchildren for the first time in four years.
