As well as having some private time, which is likely to include some meetings with royal relatives, Harry and Meghan will also be busy with engagements. It is believed the main one will be the one-year countdown event to the 2027 Invictus Games on July 10 at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre. However, it has also been reported that Meghan, 44, will visit a hospital during her trip back to Britain, with the trip expected to last five days.
The Telegraph reports that the couple will also undertake meetings and at least one public event together, with Harry, 41, expected to carry out various engagements from July 7 until July 11.
This is set to include a charity festival for bereaved children and a visit to Birmingham Children’s Hospital to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its “WellChild Nurse” – a role that supports children and families with complex medical conditions.
This is the visit Meghan is likely to attend with her husband.
It is believed the couple, who quit royal life in 2020, will also attend meetings related to Invictus at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
Before heading back to America, Harry is also believed to be set to attend Scotty’s Summer Festival at Maxstoke Castle in Warwickshire.
This is an event for bereaved military children from the charity Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
While Harry and Meghan are bringing their children with them to the UK, Archie and Lilibet are not expected to make any public appearances.
