Meghan Markle’s former co-star from Suits is thinking about removing her from his Instagram bio. The 44-year-old, Patrick J Adams, starred as lawyer Mike Ross, Meghan’s on-screen love interest, on the hit legal drama for seven seasons, alongside the now Duchess of Sussex from 2011 to 2018.
Patrick’s Instagram bio currently reads, in reference to Meghan: “The other guy from that show that you’re watching on that app because that girl married that prince.”
Patrick joined Amanda Hirsch on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, and he addressed the reference in his social media bio.
“I’ve got to change that,” he said. “It’s the sort of thing that wherever Meghan is, if she’s ever read that, she’s going, ‘Patrick, give me a break’. I got a lot of eye rolls – that was a constant with Meghan.”
Patrick also revealed Meghan Markle did reach out when he and Sarah Rafferty, who played Harvey Spector’s formidable COO Donna, launched a Suits rewatch podcast in 2024.
He said: “Upon hearing about the podcast, I got a lovely text, saying how excited she was for us and asking how she could help in any way.”
Patrick also left suits after completing a number of seasons. He said: “I was burned out. I was becoming a not nice person to work with, because I was becoming frustrated.
“You get to a point of seven years of a show and you have to repeat things, right? I think I just wanted it to be shook up in a way that it shouldn’t be.”
Meghan Markle starred as Rachel Zane, and Patrick starred as Mike Ross in the USA Network legal drama Suits from its debut in 2011 until 2017.
