Mike Tindall shares heartbreaking update in new statement | Royal | News

The event is held to support two charities: Cure Parkinson’s and the sporting-injury charity, The Matt Hampson Foundation.

These charities are both believed to be very close to Mike’s heart.

“Parkinson’s is brutal and there is no let up from how it attacks the body and changes people.

“After 23 (plus) years of the disease, it has quite honestly left him a shell of what he once was, which is why I don’t want anyone else to see a parent or loved one suffer and have their quality of life decline so massively.”

As his father was a rugby player like Mike, it is believed he shared his wisdom with his son, which Mike believes helped him become a success on the rugby pitch.

Mike once said in an interview: “He was an absolutely unbelievable father.”
