Morrisons has revealed the changes coming to its cafes across the country. Although the British supermarket chain has closed a number of its cafes across the country, some remain in place and are popular with local shoppers. Morrisons has unveiled its new summer cafe menu, and it includes a rival to a popular McDonald’s dish. The supermarket promises comforting classics, lighter bites and family-friendly deals landing the way on its menu.
The star of the show is the brand-new Big Breakfast Wrap, a rival to the popular McDonald’s breakfast wrap. However, the Morrisons one will be available all day, while McDonald’s ends its breakfast menu at a certain time every day. It is comprised of two British sausages, two rashers of bacon, two crispy hash browns, a fried egg and a melted cheese slice, all wrapped inside a warm tortilla for £6.50.
The summer menu also includes the new Chicken Breast Skewers or Boneless Crispy Chicken Bites, each served with a choice of rice, chips or in a wrap (£7.50), as well as the Fish Butty (£7.50) and Cheese & Onion Quiche served with chips and beans (£7.50).
