A teenager is fighting for his life after being stabbed near a Wetherspoon pub in a West Midlands town, with a large police cordon in place. Emergency services were scrambled to Market Street in Oldbury at 12.15pm today (July 2) to reports of an altercation between a group of teenagers.
West Midlands Police said a 19-year-old boy was taken to hospital with “injuries believed to be life-threatening”. Church Street in Oldbury is closed off, with delays expected in the area for motorists. Police remain on the scene, and have launched an urgent appeal for anyone with information that could help with their investigation to come forward.
