Police are appealing for information after a vehicle was allegedly deliberately driven at pedestrians in a major UK city. The incident happened on May 23 in Birmingham, West Midlands Police said in a statement issued today.

In a statement, the force said a van was deliberately driven at pedestrians at the junction of Kingstanding Road and Dyas Road at around 8am.

A police spokesperson said: “The van was driven away from the scene after the incident, which thankfully saw no one seriously injured. It is understood the people involved were known to one another and that this was not a random attack.”
