During their trip, the mother-of-two admitted that they were “missing” their children, telling the crowd: “It feels appropriate that although of course we are missing our children, I’m missing my babies, it feels very appropriate to be in the motherland and amongst family.”

Meghan also gave rare updates on their rarely-seen children during the trip, sharing how becoming a mother was always “a dream of mine”.

At a panel on women’s leadership, Meghan shared: “Being a mom has always been a dream of mine and I’m so fortunate that we have two beautiful, healthy, very chatty, sweet children. I love being a mom.”

Elsewhere, the Duchess shared a sweet update about Lilibet, who will celebrate her third birthday on June 4.

Meghan opened up about an emotional interaction she recently had with Lilibet, sharing that her daughter is now “talking really literally” with the children.

The 42-year-old told a class full of youngsters: “Our daughter, Lili, she’s much, much tinier than you guys. She’s about to turn three.

“And a few weeks ago she looked at me and she would just see the reflection in my eyes. And she goes, ‘Mama, I see me in you”, Oh, now she was talking really literally.

“But I hung onto those words in a very different way. And I thought, yes, I do see me in you, and you see me in you.”
