Prince Harry may have taken Meghan Markle and their children to Princess Diana’s final resting place during their reported visit to the UK, according to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, although there has been no confirmation that the visit took place.
Speaking to GB News, Fitzwilliams said he believed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could have travelled to Althorp Estate in Northamptonshire, where Diana is buried, while the family were in Britain.
Harry, 41, was reportedly seen leaving the estate on Saturday ahead of his final UK engagement, where he joined around 200 young people for a goat yoga session.
The Duke of Sussex has previously spoken of his wish to take Meghan, 44, and their children, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, to visit Diana’s grave. Meghan has previously visited Althorp, but there has been no public confirmation that either of the couple’s children has made the trip.

Fitzwilliams suggested the visit may have taken place away from the public eye.
He said: “We don’t know how long Meghan and the children were over.
“We assume that they must have visited Althorp and seen Diana’s grave.”
His comments reflected his own assessment of the family’s movements and there has been no official confirmation that such a visit took place.

Questions over whether Archie and Lilibet would travel to the UK centred on Harry’s long-running concerns about security arrangements, reports GB News.
After plans for the children to visit Britain were announced, Harry’s application for a particular level of security protection was rejected by the Home Office and the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC).
The Duke later said he would continue to “explore every available option to enable the visit to proceed safely and to give his children the opportunity to enjoy the UK”.
Fitzwilliams said the security dispute overshadowed the beginning of the visit.
“The early part of the trip was a complete mess,” he said.
“The security situation could change. There are threats; he has a stalker, we know.
“The security issues are very much at the forefront at the moment. The situation is unsatisfactorily unresolved.”
He added: “I think people thought, and I thought, that he’d get it.
“He hasn’t, and so far still hasn’t, but that doesn’t mean he won’t in the future at some time because security is very much in the news at the moment, so it might happen.”

Reports have suggested Meghan and the couple’s children travelled to Britain later in the visit, although details of their movements have not been publicly confirmed.
Separate reports also claimed the family met King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Highgrove, the King’s private Gloucestershire residence. Buckingham Palace has not released photographs or details of any private family gathering, and the Palace has not publicly confirmed those reports.
According to the reports, Archie and Lilibet did not accompany Harry to his London engagements because of ongoing security concerns. It has not been confirmed how long the family remained in the UK.
Fitzwilliams said he believed Harry could spend more time in Britain with Meghan and their children if the security issue were resolved in the future, although no changes to the current arrangements have been announced.
