Prince Harry slammed for ‘threatening to go t*ts up’ amid Palace fears | Royal | News

Prince Harry’s return to the UK next week is “threatening to go t*ts up,” as the Royal Family are “bracing” for a week full of drama, it has been claimed. The Duke of Sussex will be heading home next week to mark the one year to go for the Invictus Games in Birmingham. Harry’s return will clash with various royal engagements, as well as the highly anticipated judgment in his High Court case against the publisher of the Daily Mail.

The Duke’s trip is still shrouded in uncertainty about whether he will bring his two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after he failed to get a decision on his risk reassessment. But the Sussex camp appear not to have confirmed any of the plans about their children, whether Harry will be meeting with the King, or whether he’ll give another interview after the High Court judgement, which has reportedly brought a fresh headache within Palace walls.

The Sun reported that Harry will make a decision at the “last minute” regarding whether it’s safe to bring his family to the UK.

But The Times claimed that Palace insiders are bracing for a “suboptimal” trip filled with drama.

A source told the newspaper: “It seems like a funny way to go about reconciliation, if that’s truly what he wants.”

Another source added that while the King is a “kind and compassionate man,” his patience is not without limits.

A source said: “One hopes, of course, that it will all go marvellously smoothly.”

Meanwhile, author and former Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown said about the upcoming Sussex trip: “As usual, it’s all threatening to go t*ts up.”

When the duke lost a Court of Appeal challenge against the Home Office last year, he gave a BBC interview in which he expressed hope for reconciliation with his family, revealing that Charles would not speak to him because of his security court case.

Harry added: “I can’t see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK at his point and the things that they’re going to miss is, well, everything you know.”
