He lost an appeal over the dismissal of his High Court claim against the Home Office last year after it was decided he and his family should receive a reduced level of protection after moving to the US. One X user said, “We don’t want him here”, while another questioned why Harry is so desperate for UK security when he is “happy and settled overseas”.
A third added: “They are not entitled to taxpayer-funded protection. Harry stated that he felt trapped within that system and the Royal Family, and consequently, there is no place or role for him in that family.”

He told the BBC last May that the King “won’t speak to me because of this security stuff”, but that he was keen for reconciliation because he did “not know how much longer my father has”.
He also argued that his children can’t “feel at home” in Britain if it is “not possible to keep them safe” there, and questioned why he had been “singled out” for “inferior treatment”.
While the reunion earlier this month was viewed by many as a sign of thawing relations between the Palace and Montecito, a renewed security battle could see tensions once again rear their head.
