Princess Kate called ‘proper pro’ by Prince William in gushing tribute | Royal | News

The aim of the trip, which saw the Princess visit Reggio Emilia, was to start the global conversation about the importance of childhood. This specifically involves the first five years of a child’s life and how these years can shape their futures. This is a subject that Catherine is extremely passionate about and has previously been referred to as her “life’s work”.

Prince William said his wife is very passionate about the topic, calling her a “proper pro” in the field.

He revealed: “She spends, God knows how much time now, looking through all the paperwork.

“She’s a proper pro on early years. Most evenings I’m fighting to get past in the bedroom, what paperwork that she’s got lined up, ready to read.”

It is believed Catherine spends evenings reading about the projects, research and work surrounding childhood and early years.

This is likely something she does once she has spent time with her own children and put them to bed, with Catherine known to be a very hands-on mum with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

He said in his radio appearance: “She’s an amazing mum and an amazing wife and literally our family couldn’t cope without her, so she’s been absolutely stunning, really has.”
