Queen Camilla all smiles as she arrives at Hampton Court Palace for own event | Royal | News

The Queen has arrived at the second annual Queen’s Reading Room Literary Festival at Hampton Court Palace.

Camilla was met by the chairman of Historic Royal Palaces, Sir Nicholas Coleridge, as well as Vicky Perrin, chief executive of the Queen’s Reading Room, and authors including Harlan Coben.

Other stars in attendance include Harry Potter actress and Hollywood stars Helena Bonham Carter and Miriam Margolyes, as well as authors Lee Child and Ian Rankin.

Camilla arrived wearing a smart navy blue coat and looked thrilled as she shook hands with stars ahead of the start of the second year for the event.

The Queen’s Reading Room is a charity led by Her Majesty Queen Camilla to celebrate and promote the power and benefits of reading. It is on a mission to help more people find and connect with books which enrich their lives.
