Royal Family LIVE: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry told how to increase popularity | Royal | News

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been advised to focus on “consistency and authenticity” to try to increase their popularity in the UK.

One PR expert has said that the pair should also attempt to “tone down” on their lavish lifestyles and to stop “showing off”, as reported by GB News.

The couple launched their brand-new website,, last month – as well as Meghan’s new brand, American Riviera Orchard.

Lynn Carratt from Press Box PR said: “If Meghan and Harry are set on building their popularity up, there needs to be some consistency and authenticity running across their brand as a couple.”

As well as the couple’s joint brand, she advised that Harry should ensure that the next Invictus Games – which is set to take place in Germany in July – is a success also.

She said: “Another successful Invictus Games will help Harry’s popularity.”

Ms Carratt told the Mirror: “They need to become more relatable to the British public, Meghan could consider toning down her use of designer labels and opting for frugal options, like Kate. Showing herself as a normal working mum who is facing the same challenges as others would also help.”

Commenting on how the couple are also being criticised, the PR expert advised that they should “help themselves in fostering the right PR strategy.”

Prince Harry is set to return to London in May to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Although nothing has been confirmed, Meghan and their two children – Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two – are also tipped to join Harry in the UK.
