Meghan Markle could be set to “re-enter the influencer scene” after one major move, a publicity expert has said.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, launched her new brand – American Riviera Orchard – on March 14.
The launch came with a glossy new website and new Instagram account – complete with a sleek black-and-white video to capture the attention of fans.
Although the mother-of-two has left the social media platform – and website – stagnant for the past few weeks, experts have predicted that Meghan is set to make a return to the influencer world.
Meghan previously ran a successful lifestyle blog, The Tig, for three years. Meghan closed her blog in 2017 following her engagement to Prince Harry.
Speaking to the Mirror, PR expert Courtney Haywood-Ford said: “It’s definitely something to keep an eye on. Her verified account and sizable following suggest that there’s potential for her to re-enter the influencer scene.
“Plus let’s be clear Meghan Markle always had a sense of fashion and style before she married Harry.”
She added: “Meghan recently voiced concerns about the downsides of social media, so her return might raise eyebrows. However, people can change their views over time, so perhaps her comeback signifies a shift in approach.
“Fans might anticipate genuine, relatable posts that resonate with them, much like her previous work with The Tig. Keeping things transparent, authentic, and focused on meaningful connections could help maintain a positive public image.”
