Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly feel like they have been snubbed by the Royal Family as they received no well wishes on their eighth wedding anniversary earlier this month. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated their wedding anniversary in Montecito together, and were reportedly surprised that no members of Harry’s family reached out to send a message.
A source told Closer magazine that this was a massive “slap in the face” for Harry, especially as he felt like his relationships with some royals such as his father King Charles were improving. An insider told the magazine: “In an ideal world they would have gotten a public message from the King, they never would have expected anything from the Waleses, but they were hoping Charles might extend some sort of olive branch, to signify to everyone that they are back in the fold
“The fact that he not only ignored their big day publicly but also privately was a massive slap in the face and it has left Harry completely shocked. Harry genuinely believed things were starting to thaw with his father, so this has hit him a lot harder than most people would probably expect.”
