Shoppers ‘elevate bedroom’ with £32 bedding that won’t need an iron

Refreshing your bedding is a quick and easy way to transform your bedroom into a sleep sanctuary and shoppers are jumping at the chance to do this for less in the Dunelm sale. Praised for their bedding which has been described as ‘like sleeping in a posh hotel’, there is one set in particular that is very appealing.

The Billie White Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set is now £25.60 for a single, £32 for a double, £36.80 for a king and £41.60 for a super king. With a 20% discount applied to all sizes, you can enjoy ‘beautiful’ bedding at a bargain price.

You won’t need to worry about the bedding fitting into any existing interiors as the textured white pattern will complement all furniture, wall colours and cushions. It’s machine washable so can simply be popped in the machine to clean and many shoppers say it requires ‘no ironing’, giving it bonus points.

The single set features one duvet cover and one pillowcase, while the double, kingsize and super kingsize sets all feature two pillowcases. With its sophisticated styling that looks ‘more expensive than it is’, shoppers have been leaving five-star reviews on the Dunelm website – there’s hundreds to scroll through.

One person said: “This bedding looks and feels great. The key had to be how good it was once washed and it really is no iron. I’m ordering a second set.”

It shouldn’t leave you feeling too hot in the night thanks to the breathable fabric. A confirmed this by writing: “Such an unusual, pleasing, attractive pattern, substantial looking but lightweight set. Just love the look, the plain white is very fresh looking, my favourite duvet set!”

A third customer added: “This bedding is by far the best bedding I have ever purchased. It is warm, cosy, a perfect fit for our king sized duvet and looks fantastic on our bed. The sharp white colour makes the bedding look fresh and the lovely pattern adds texture and interest. Though the additional pillowcases which I purchased have a slightly different pattern, they blend in very well with the pillowcases which come with the duvet. The cherry on the cake is that the bedding washes beautifully and NO ironing is required. The duvet cover doesn’t even crease when sat on. A first for me. I would highly recommend.”

However, not everyone was happy and one person said that ‘the underside of the cover feels scratchy on the skin’ and another mentioned ‘I was a little disappointed with the thin feel of the underside of the cover and will use for my own rather than for impressing visitors staying.’

Elsewhere, Marks and Spencer currently have up to 40% off selected bedding including the best-loved Pure Cotton Jersey Bedding Set. It is usually £39.50 for a double size but is now £27.65.
