Shoppers with ‘sparse’ eyebrows love £27 Charlotte Tilbury pencil

Eyebrows can really make or break a look, and many people find that sparseness can be the biggest barrier to achieving the arches they desire. However, a premium brow pencil from beloved make-up brand Charlotte Tilbury is being hailed by shoppers as an ideal buy for those looking to have bolder, but still natural-looking eyebrows.

The Charlotte Tilbury Brow Cheat eyebrow pencil, which costs £27 from the brand, has been praised by buyers for making their eyebrows look more defined. With its micro-precision angled tip, the waterproof, smudge-proof, humidity-proof and sweat-resistant eyebrow pencil is said to have a 16-hour wear for a long-lasting look.

The refillable pencil comes in a wide variety of shades – light blonde, taupe, soft brown, natural brown, medium brown, black brown and natural black – making it ideal for a range of hair colours and complexions. However, the light blonde and natural black shades are currently out of stock on the Charlotte Tilbury website.

For a wider range of colour choices that includes greys, shoppers could also look at the Benefit Precisely, My Brow pencil which is currently £21.60 down from £27 at LookFantastic. Similar to the Charlotte Tilbury product, this one has an ultra-fine tip for a natural look and comes with a spoolie brush at the other end.

Those who prefer a brow pen to a pencil could try the 2-in-1 Microblading Eyebrow Pen for £6.99 from Amazon. This one comes in Brown, Light Brown and Dark Brown and has both a forked tip for volume and a precision tip for definition.

However, those who have tried the Charlotte Tilbury Brow Cheat eyebrow pencil have left glowing reviews of the product. One fan said: “My eyebrows are extremely sparse being a more mature lady and I find this a great product with very good results and so easy to use.”

Another said: “Was very soft and easy to apply, makes brows look super natural. Don’t even need to use a lot and it lasts alll day without smudging.”

A third added: “Love this brow pencil. It’s the perfect colour and applies really easy.”

However, some did note some issues with colour matching, including one buyer who said: “Good application and stays put, but I found the Soft Brown a little too yellow. I was looking for a light greyish brown with no red or yellow tones.”

Another added: “I’m still getting used to drawing on my brows. This set has really helped me feel comfortable experimenting and testing the shapes and shades that I’m most comfortable with. I do recommend using a light hand as this stuff is pigmented.”
