Three men who stabbed after a “fight” broke out in Manchester city centre have been arrested. The trio were all found with stab wounds following an incident in Piccadilly Gardens on Tuesday (May 19). Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a fight at 9.45pm.
Upon arrival at the scene, they found a man in his 20s with stab wounds, who was taken to hospital for treatment. A second man, in his 50s, was located nearby with a stab wound to his arm and was also taken to hospital. A third man, also in his 20s, later attended Manchester Royal Infirmary with a stab wound to his back.
All three men have been arrested on suspicion of affray.
