Originally from Ada, Oklahoma, Martin studied at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, before embarking on her political communications career in 2019.
That same year, she made her first foray into politics, serving as a junior press aide in the White House until the administration came to an end in 2021.

Martin maintains considerable privacy around her personal affairs; though notably, her sister, Markie Martin, serves as a news anchor for NewsNation.
The 30 year old Trump aide’s love life remains unverified, although media reports and social media behaviour point towards a relationship with Brock Sorensen, a former lacrosse player.
Her friends have jokingly alluded to the romance on Instagram, describing their joint holiday snaps as a “hard launch.” She has also shared photographs with him on her own account. Why do people confuse her with Melania Trump?
Remarkably, Martin has previously been confused with Melania Trump on several occasions.
While accompanying Donald Trump at a Miami courthouse, wearing dark sunglasses and a black jumpsuit, she sparked considerable online discussion with observers drawing comparisons to the First Lady.
In 2023, Fox News anchor John Roberts directly informed viewers during a live broadcast, “We have some video that we want to play out here, Melania Trump entering the courthouse…” The broadcaster was compelled to issue an on-air correction 15 minutes afterwards upon realising it was in fact Martin.
The confusion happened once more in 2024 throughout Trump’s hush money trial.
With Melania Trump not present at the proceedings, Martin’s presence beside Donald Trump, sporting her signature dark sunglasses, tailored black pantsuits, and highlighted, wavy hair, resulted in members of the public, courtroom spectators, and international news outlets repeatedly misidentifying her.
