UK pet shop giant to open 160 new stores – full list per region | UK | News

A UK pet shop is set to open 160 new stores across the nation as part of a wider five-year development plan. The company, which has already confirmed opening dates for four new sites in the coming months, has enjoyed success in recent years since its launch by a family in 1971.

Jollyes, a pet superstore specialising in food, toys, accessories and health products, currently operates over 120 stores across the UK. It has doubled its number of stores in the last three years, including new sites in Blackpool, Ponders End, Hartlepool and Whitehaven this year. Further shops in Lincoln, Kidderminster, Yeovil and Derby will also open between May 15 and the end of June.

As reported by The Sun, Jollyes’ property director Warren Bester said: “We’re on a mission to make high-quality pet care accessible to all, investing in range development alongside our commitment to low prices, as we deliver great value every day. Wherever we open a store, we become the location of choice for pet parents in the community.”

Jollyes has identified 160 towns and cities across the nation where it will expand its franchise over the next five years. They include major locations such as London, Birmingham, Liverpool and Bristol.

The company was founded in Enfield in 1971 and has expanded rapidly since. As well as pet products, Jollyes provides services including community clinics, vaccines and grooming.

It has grown to become the UK’s second-largest pet retailer, emerging as a major rival to Pets at Home. Here is the full list of locations where Jollyes plans to operate.
