UK restaurant chain appears to shut all locations | UK | News

Grounded Cafe Bars have been in operation in the area since 2008.

The group of restaurant bars had a range of fresh dishes and served locally-sourced coffee from Clifton Coffee across all eight locations.

Tuesday, June 23 believed to have been the final day of business for the chain, according to The Sun.

Regulars assumed that the café brand was closing temporarily due to the hot weather but none of the locations have reopened since the heatwave came to an end.

The South Bristol Voice said that all Grounded restaurants are closed.

Furniture at both the Bedminster Parade and Fishponds locations remains in place, but the doors are locked and the lights are off.

There are no reports of signage in the windows and no official messages appear online in relation to the closures.
