Brits are likely to experience scorching weather conditions in next few weeks as the latest maps show temperature levels soaring to 32C. WXCharts weather maps from June 19 have turned dark red indicating the possibility of hot conditions across 18 areas of the country.
The weather conditions come days after the UK experienced days of unsettled weather with parts of the country drenched in the rain. Heavy rainshowers are likely to blast several areas of Britain over this weekend as the Met Office warns of “risk of thunders” in places. The latest weather maps from June 19 suggest that areas around London, Surrey, Oxford and Cambridge will witness the harshest conditions as the mercury levels soar to unbearble 32C.
The Met Office’s long-range weather forecast between June 19 and Jul3 reads: “The start of the period is likely to be relatively settled for most of the UK.
“High pressure is likely to be in the vicinity of the UK bringing drier conditions, especially to the south and east. However some showers or spells of rain are still possible, particularly in the north and west.
“Winds will mostly be light with temperatures probably above normal and it could be hot at times in the south.
“Towards the end of June, low pressure may begin to have more of an influence, especially across the south where heavy showers and thunderstorms become more probable.”
