Firefighters are responding to a blaze in Woolwich, London, as smoke fills the sky. London Fire Brigade said there are currently 60 firefighters at the scene.
Crews are extinguishing a grass fire near Shrapnel Close, the service also said. The fire brigade said around two hectares of grass are alight in Woolwich, and that the fire broke out on Shrapnel Close.
The blaze was first reported at around 11.27am and after that crews from East Greenwich, Eltham, Plumstead, Greenwich, and surrounding fire stations were sent to the scene.
