The protester who disrupted the World Snooker Championship Final at the Crucible has been identified as OnlyFans model Sasha Swan.

She was reportedly heard shouting “no-one pays their TV licence” while also using profane language. The incident provoked an furious reaction from the rest of the Sheffield audience.

Referee Rob Spencer intervened to have her escorted from the venue alongside security personnel.

Swan has now confirmed her involvement in an expletive-laden online tirade against the broadcaster and the sport itself, disclosing she had intended to remove her top before being ejected.

She did, however, declare herself an admirer of Ronnie O’Sullivan.

Swan said: “Yeah, it was me, I did streak the snooker with my team. I didn’t manage to get them out because they kicked me out quickly.

“But who the f*** does pay their TV licence? Nobody pays their TV licence. I don’t care. F*** the BBC, f*** the snooker, f*** everybody.

“Get on my Twitter right now and you’ll see me and Ronnie O’Sullivan. I wish he was there. Big up to Ronnie O’Sullivan.”

Yize has positioned himself to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Zhao Xintong and secure the world title for China.

The electrifying youngster seized control of the final from Shaun Murphy with a scintillating display to establish a commanding overnight advantage.

Resuming at 4-4 from the afternoon session, Yize produced a masterclass to secure the upper hand at 10-7 heading into Monday’s finale.
